About

Nimbus Play started as a group chat where a few of us kept arguing about which mobile games were actually worth the storage space. Eventually we got tired of typing paragraphs into a messaging app and built a small site instead. Nothing fancy, just a place to park our notes after we've actually finished playing something.,Every game here gets installed on a normal phone, not an emulator or a borrowed flagship. We care about the boring stuff: how a game behaves on a mid-range device, whether it cooks your battery in twenty minutes, and if the touch controls feel right or just get in the way.,We pick games the way friends recommend things. Something catches our eye in a store listing, someone on the team tries it, and if it's interesting enough to keep talking about, it gets a full write-up. We don't chase trending charts or cover a title just because everyone else did.,The team is small and the opinions are our own. If a game disappoints us we say so plainly, and if a small studio surprises us we're happy to shout about it. That's the whole idea.
